Miakka is more than a golf club. It’s your home. It’s where members come together for friendly competitions, and new friendships are forged. Upon entering the property, you immediately feel the serenity created by seclusion, the connection a great club creates between members, as well as the attention to detail throughout the course and amenities.
The Amenities
The Culture
THE CLUBHOUSE
Iconic—that’s the ambition for the clubhouse at Miakka. Rising above the course, the clubhouse’s distinctive design, created by Mark C. Myers in collaboration with the Florida firm of Peacock+Lewis, will be visible from almost every hole on the property. With a porch that provides breathtaking views beyond the Myakka River and the perfect staging for dramatic sunsets, Miakka’s dining room offers the rustic elegance you’d expect. Our private Chef’s Table complimented by our wine selection and spirits selection will provide for an elevated dining experience. Additionally, our locker rooms will, of course, have the same attention to detail and craftsmanship found throughout the facility. Comfort is the key.
THE STILL
It’s been a great day of golf. Dinner is finished, and you and your playing partners are relaxing out on the porch of The Still with a whiskey in one hand and a good cigar in the other. A cool Florida breeze is a respite from the warm day, and you can relive the highlights of your trip around the course. From inside The Still, you can hear the other members sharing their own stories and overhear the celebration of remarkable shots. You’ll sleep well tonight, but can’t wait to wake up in the morning to do it all again.
THE COTTAGES
A restful sleep is just what you need after a full day of play. In the morning, you’ll feel rejuvenated and ready to do it all again. While our four- and eight-room cottages are designed for comfort and privacy, large common areas provide a great atmosphere to watch the game, play some cards, or just have one last beverage before retiring for the night.
